How Facial Liposuction Works
Facial Liposuction is minor surgery that Dr. Robinson performs in-office using local anesthesia to numb the area and light sedation to increase your comfort during the procedure, which typically takes 45 minutes to an hour.
He starts by making a small incision either beneath your chin near your lower jaw, or inside your mouth where your lower lip meets your gums. Then he inserts a thin tube called a micro-cannula into the opening and guides it to the targeted area. As he gently manipulates this precision instrument, it delivers pulsating water to loosen excess fat from the surrounding tissue, which it simultaneously extracts along with the fluid.
Before you go home, Dr. Robinson applies sterile bandages to absorb drainage and fits you with a compression garment worn for 36–48 hours to protect the surgical wound. Occasionally sutures are used to close the cannula opening — if so, they are removed at a follow-up appointment a few days later.

Anesthesia & Preparation

Micro-Cannula Fat Removal

Bandaging & Compression Garment
Sterile bandages are applied to absorb drainage. A compression garment is worn for 36–48 hours to protect the wound and support optimal healing.
Follow-Up

Recuperating After Facial Liposuction
